Traditionally the Pepperpot would be made with meat or fish (catch of the day). It would be eaten with cassava bread. Now it is a Christmas staple in Guyana. People would dip 'plait bread' into the Pepperpot before disposing of with a with a few hmmmm's and aaahhh's. Can leave you with slightly tacky lips. Great with Ginger Beer.
